A Powerful Meditation & Healing Technique: FEEL to HEAL

Meditation is an extremely powerful tool. Many of us have expectations of what meditation should look like or not look like. Meditation is the simple practice of allowing the mind to relax so as to allow the natural process of our body and consciousness to do what it does best and align.

Some people have trouble visualizing. Some people even have a completely blind mind's eye and that is referred most commonly to as "aphantasia". This is something that I have experienced. In fact, I didn't realize people actually could conjure images in their mind until a handful of years ago. I thought if you could see images it was what it meant to be clairvoyant. In truth, there's a huge spectrum of sight.

Many people with aphantasia get frustrated with meditation because so many practices involve visualization. You don't have to visualize to meditate. I started meditating through a very logic driven lens. I was recommended meditation by my psychologist to assist with physical pain. I worked with doctors utilizing bio-feedback. This allowed me to use devices to monitor my heart rate, blood pressure, and brainwave states. This helped me really grasp the benefits of meditation and bookmark how I felt when my bio-readings were in meditative states.

Meditation was life changing for me. I was meditating all the time! At the beginning, I wasn't really able to sleep much because of my pain. Some nights I would literally meditate through the night instead of sleeping. This was mostly just relaxation meditation but eventually I discovered a meditation technique the was an absolute game changer. I started focusing on FEELING and everything changed.

The following practice is not just meditation but it's also a POWERFUL healing technique. With this technique you don't need any of the "stories". The intelligence of your body guides you through the process. Our bodies are trying to do everything they can to find alignment. The pain is our body saying "pay attention here". When we meet that area with relaxation and acceptance ("listening") our body naturally aligns for us.

This "recipe" has three major ingredients; relaxation, feeling/listening, and full acceptance (unconditional love). Unconditional love has no insistence on change. It greets resistance with understand and in that the body shifts to the state it is most efficient. 

The Technique:

  1. Relax deeply, preferably with a straight neck/spine (laying is fine). Make sure the eyes stay relaxed (and behind the eyes) and relax the jaw.
  2. Simply become aware of how your body feels; CONSCIOUSLY feel. Identify anywhere you might have tension or pain in the body. Simply bring awareness to it.. allow it to relax but don't force anything; observe. Allow your body to make micro adjustments to release tension.
  3. Freeze time but don't completely freeze your body. Imagine you're floating in water and the natural movements of your breathing in the water bobs you slightly up and down.
  4. Consciously FEEL the hands. What do they feel like? Feel for where you feel any pressure or tingles while holding the conscious awareness of where you might have slight tensions or pain in the body.
  5. Keeping awareness on any sensations in the hands and anywhere there may be tension or pain.. begin to FEEL the entire body at the same time. Remember, don't force anything. Allow for any micro adjustments to naturally occur. It's important to not try to force or "get rid" of anything.. fully accept it.
  6. Are your eyes and jaw still relaxed? Consciously feel what your eyes feel like as you bring your awareness to them
  7. While doing the above, simply observe where the next most tense area might be in the body. It will likely shift and move around. The awareness in your hands and eyes will naturally shift the energies in the body.
  8. Simply continue the above processes for as long as you are guided! You can bring through profound healing in this way! You may unlock memories and relieve physical pain and stress.


Tips: Recognize that NOTHING is random. What might feel like distracting thoughts are simply the entanglement to these thoughtforms and emotions that are held in your field. They are clues to what is being held onto. The eyes will tense up when we are stuck on a thought or memory. Remembering to relax them helps us release conscious awareness on stuck thinking and helps release the energy held in the body.


The eyes and hands are holographic in nature. By that I mean that all parts of the whole are contained within any smaller part. Our eyes and hands are extensions of our mind's awareness. They are entangled to all systems in the body. So FEELING them deeply helps to literally heal the energy and body.
You can increase potency of healing a specific area by placing your hands 6-12" from where you feel it in the body. Remember to feel for those pressures, tingles, or temperature changes.


Healing is really about releasing thoughtforms and emotions from our body and field. Everything starts as a thought and based on how we value the thought (negative, neutral, or positive) will dictate the vibration of the thought. We often judge "negative" vibrations/thoughts and thus we won't want to allow the vibration to move through us. We store it for later processing. E-motion = energy-in-motion. It's meant to move through us. Based on the frequency of the thought/emotion it will dictate where in our body/energy field they will be stored. Enough like vibration and we create resistance and dis-ease in the energy flow.. and thus we experience pain and illness.
